Sculptural and serene, the Pillar Crest Vase brings a gentle sense of movement to any space. Thrown on the wheel in a tall, pillar-like form, it rises with quiet strength before softly expanding, curving inward with a smooth, tactile edge and finally flaring into a wide, subtly wavy rim. The lower two thirds of the body is carefully faceted, creating a refined interplay of light and shadow that enhances its sculptural presence.
Crafted from a slightly speckled stoneware clay, the natural freckles of the body subtly peek through the creamy satin matte glaze, adding warmth and quiet character to the finish. This soft, velvety surface highlights both the clean planes of the facets and the fluid curves above.
Standing at approximately 28 cm high, the Pillar Crest Vase is designed to make a statement, whether styled with branches, blooms or admired on its own as a piece of ceramic sculpture.
