I'm not a writer by any means or a big sharer of my thoughts so writing a blog has never been on my to do list - ever!
And here we I am, writing a blog! What? No! Don't get too excited as this is going to be a short one :)
I felt compelled to write a few words for a couple of reasons; one was to welcome you all to my brand spanking new website! I feel so grown up as a potter to have my very own website.
So welcome to my website launch and my first blog ever! It's kind of a big deal ;) Thank you so much for being here and taking the time to read this.
Second - well there is that section in the website set aside from just Blog posts and I couldn't just leave it empty now could I?
What you see here, my products and everything about them is a result of all the hard work put into a passion that turned into a business for the last 3 years. This entailed learning the craft as quickly as the demand grew, gaining knowledge and techniques on how to work with the clay bodies I use and the glazes I mix from my own failures and successes. Its taken a while to develop, test and improve these functional forms I now have, trying to keep them both useful and beautiful at the same time.
Arranging different table settings for our website shoot was a proud moment for me. I got to see a lot of my pieces come together oh so tastefully!
Know that there's always a big smile on my face when you purchase from me. And it warms my heart to know that each piece sent out will be loved and cherished in their new homes.
